What gacha balls do

The developer press kit describes colored gacha balls as the upgrade system, with balls found throughout the levels. This page explains availability messages; it is not a full collectible map.

No more gachas in a rarity?

Patch 1.0.34 adds a slot-machine message when a rarity has no gachas left to offer. If you see that message, it refers to that rarity’s availability, not proof that every rarity is exhausted.

Why did a hidden gacha disappear from the Datamachine?

In 1.0.34, the Datamachine stops listing hidden gachas that cannot be found in the current playthrough. An absent entry is therefore not automatically a display bug. The notes do not specify the hidden locations or the conditions that make each one unavailable.

Check your installed version and the patch notes before searching based on an older display. No Secret VP or Pain achievement solution is established by this availability change.
